THE PRODUCT
Bu-tylene Alu Professional is a self-adhesive sealing tape made of a butyl rubber compound, self-protected by a metal film in aluminium, available in various sizes/colours. The difference compared to the Brico range consists in the easy peel siliconized release paper. Both release paper edges exceed some millimeters from the tape itself, featuring an easy removable release paper.
Bu-tylene Alu Professional is highly adhesive to all materials and especially to plastic, glass, steel, polycarbonate, wood and bitumen as well.
Its metal film in aluminium, makes the product highly resistant to ageing and oxidizing caused by atmospheric and chemical agents.

USES
Sealing and joining materials such as glass, steel, plexiglas, polycarbonate, wood, aluminium, pvc and most other common building materials.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Bu-tylene Alu Professional adheres and is compatible with most building materials.
The surface should be clean, dry, smoot and dust-free.
No special tools are required to install Bu-Tylene Alu Professional.
INSTALLATION
Prepare the surface and proceed as follows:
Choose the most suitable width and metal finish of the Bu-tylene Alu Professional tape;
Unroll Bu-tylene Alu Professional until the desired length is reached;
Remove the silicone release film that covers the adhesive part of the tape and position Bu-tylene Alu Professional;
Press with a roller or a cloth pad.
STORAGE
The quality and the characteristics of materials remain unaltered for a very long period of time.
The product is however best used within 12 months. The product must be correctly stored in dry and covered premises, at a temperature between +5°C and +40°C. It is not affected by frost.

The material is not hazardous for normal uses. Keep out of reach of children.

Standard Width: 30 - 35 - 40 - 45 - 50 - 60 - 75 - 100 - 150 - 200 mm.
Other widths, lengths and thicknesses are available on request.
The rolls are manufactured following the Easy Peel Professional system: the siliconized film exceeds at both edges from the butyl compound, making it easy to detach.
The rolls are individually packed, placed in boxes and packed in pallets.
